Purple Balm offers a reputable care service, where and when it is required. Reliable and flexible personnel are necessary to help support those with extra needs.

We supply fully trained nurses, care and support staff, complimentary therapists, domestic assistants and staff for companionship, all on a one-off or a regular basis. So when you join the Purple Balm team, you will have the opportunity to work in a way that suits you and your skills. You may choose to work in care at home or within establishments. Whatever your preference, we will proactively seek work for you. If you have additional skills and qualifications, we will promote your services.

    Purple Balm prides itself on its level of pastoral care for its staff. Working for Purple Balm you are never on your own as you have 24 hour access to trained staff who are there to help you.

    This includes hands-on management by a team of experienced professionals who understand and appreciate the challenges and problems associated with care work in its many different forms and settings.
    If you are new to care work, we provide a full induction training programme, support with a senior carer and the care certificate.
    Purple Balm supports every one of its staff in reaching their full potential and fulfilling their ambitions.

    If you are a qualified professional nurse
    We can offer on-going professional development to ensure you remain up to date and fulfil your post registration education and practice (Prep) requirements. This can include attending training courses, assisting in teaching / training colleagues and other members of staff, participating in research projects and reflective practice with colleagues and other staff. We can also assist you to build your knowledge and skills in new areas of nursing, allowing you to work in diverse environments and enhancing your nursing practice.

    If you are a qualified carer or support worker
    We can offer you on-going training and support to maintain and enhance your skills. This will include NVQ level 2 and in some instances we can offer you NVQ level 3 training
